Dr Izzy Moore
Current or Previous Roles: Reader in Human Movement & Sports Medicine, Neurodiverse Sport Research Strategist, and Advocate for Inclusive Practice in Sport & Health
Keynote: Izzy speaks about the intersection of neurodiversity, gender, and health in sport and academia. Drawing on her experience as a researcher and advocate, she highlights how neurodivergent experiences—particularly those of women and birthing people—are often overlooked in scientific and medical guidance. Izzy uses her platform to amplify the voices of underrepresented groups, challenge systemic bias, and promote inclusive, evidence-based approaches that reflect the full spectrum of human diversity. Her work bridges science and lived experience, calling for greater empathy and representation across research, policy, and practice.
