Kofi Josephs
“I’m Kofi Josephs, a professional athlete, international model, and mental health advocate with over 20 years of experience competing at the highest levels of basketball. I’ve proudly represented Great Britain and England at major international tournaments including EuroBasket 2017 and the Commonwealth Games, and I currently hold the British Basketball League record for most points in a single game (46).”
NdS Ambassador
We’re proud to welcome Kofi Josephs as a Neurodiverse Sport Ambassador. Our ambassador programme is built on the belief that neurodivergent athletes don’t need fixing—they need understanding, representation, and environments where they can thrive.
Kofi is a professional basketball player with traits of ADHD who has represented both England and Great Britain on the international stage, including at EuroBasket and the Commonwealth Games. He holds the British Basketball League’s all-time points record for a single game—and he's just as impactful off the court.
Through his platform Why Not I, Kofi is creating space for neurodivergent and elite athletes to prioritise mental health, share lived experience, and build supportive tools for long-term wellbeing. He shows us that performance and vulnerability aren’t opposites—they’re teammates.
