Welcome—and thank you for your interest in becoming part of Neurodiverse Sport.

We are a purpose-led, forward-thinking team committed to breaking down barriers and building a more inclusive future, so that everyone—regardless of how their brain works—can experience the transformative power of sport.

As an Ambassador, you’ll help lead the movement for change. Neurodiversity is a broad and evolving concept, and we deeply value the unique perspectives, experiences, and strengths that each person brings. Whether you have lived experience, professional insight, or both, your voice matters.

By standing with us, you're not just supporting inclusion—you're helping to redefine it. Together, we challenge outdated norms, celebrate difference, and create sport environments where everyone can thrive.

  • As a Neurodiverse Sport Ambassador, you’re helping lead the conversation on neuroinclusion in sport—and we want to make that as easy and meaningful for you as possible.

    Here’s what you can expect from us—and what we kindly ask of you in return:

    • You’ll have your own Ambassador page on our website, built using the information you share with us. If you’re also a speaker, we’ll link your Ambassador and Speaker profiles.

    • Your page will include an “Ask Me Anything” section, where members of the NdS community can submit questions for you. These will be screened by our team before we send them your way. We ask that you aim to respond within three weeks, understanding that you may be balancing a busy schedule.

    • We’ll help create an Ambassador Kit for you, and coordinate an announcement post for our social media—alongside a suggested version for you to share on your own platforms.

    • If you're active on Instagram, we can embed your posts on your Ambassador page so visitors can see what you’ve been up to and how you’re leading change.

    • If you have other ideas or ways you'd like to support—we're all ears! Every ambassador brings something unique, and we welcome your creativity and input.

    Our goal is to support you as a visible, empowered advocate—while keeping the process light-touch and accessible.

  • Ambassadors support visibility and connection with our community, while speakers are typically invited to lead sessions or panels. You can be both—if so, we’ll link your pages.

  • We aim to keep it light-touch. Most ambassadors contribute occasionally via social media, answer questions through the "Ask Me Anything" page, or get involved in campaigns that align with their interests.

  • Yes, the bio and image you provide will appear on our Ambassador page. You control how much personal detail is shared.

  • Absolutely—just let us know and we’ll update your page promptly.

  • Not at all. If you do have an active Instagram, we can embed it—but it’s not required.

  • We screen questions and forward them to you via email or a shared platform, depending on your preference.

  • No pressure—we’ll never expect you to answer something you’re uncomfortable with. Just let us know and we can either draft a response together or skip it.

  • Yes. While it's a great way to engage, it’s completely optional.

  • Yes—you’ll receive an Ambassador Kit and can reach out to our team at any time. We’re here to make this role feel manageable and meaningful.

  • Just let us know. We understand life gets busy, and this role is designed to be flexible and supportive.

  • Yes—opportunities come up throughout the year, and we may get in touch to see if you’d like to speak, contribute to a panel, or represent us at an event.

  • Definitely. We love meeting new people through our current ambassadors.
