NdS AMBASSADOR - HOLLY WILKIE-MILNE .

Introduction

We’re proud to introduce Holly Wilkie-Milne as a Neurodiverse Sport Ambassador. Holly is an elite British Curling athlete who has represented Scotland and Great Britain at multiple World Junior Championships and World University Winter Games.

With traits (and challenges) associated with ADHD, Holly’s personal journey in sport is just as inspiring as her performance on the ice. After struggling to find belonging in traditional school sport, she found confidence, identity, and purpose through curling. Now, she uses her voice to advocate for environments where neurodivergent athletes feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed—on their own terms.

Neurodiversity

➔ “I have traits (and challenges) associated with ADHD.”

What’s the highest level you’ve competed?

➔ “I’ve represented Scotland and Great Britain at:

➔ 4 World Junior Curling Championships

➔ 2 World University Winter Games”

What’s your proudest sporting achievement?

“Winning the World Juniors in 2023—we qualified Scotland out of the B division and worked incredibly hard to grind out wins on the world stage.

I’m also proud of how far I’ve come on my personal journey as an athlete—especially over the last year, as I’ve begun to understand my own neurodivergence after several difficult seasons.

I’m proud of never giving up on my dreams.

Interests & Fun Facts

“I love art and often spend time at my easel working on paintings and illustrations.

I’m an avid reader and own around 500 books, which causes some serious clutter in my flat!

Curling season can be intense—so I always carve out time for friends, family, and fun.

I love a good ‘Coffee and Yap’ or a night of dancing, especially after a big competition.”

Bio

About Me

“Hi, I’m Holly Wilkie-Milne, a British Curling athlete who has represented Scotland and GB at multiple World Championship-level events. I started curling at the age of 7 and continue to play because I love the challenge, the ice, and the constant drive to improve.”

Neurodiversity & Inclusion

“Despite not always feeling like I belonged in sport growing up—I dreaded PE classes and didn’t connect with other activities—curling and physical training helped me find confidence, joy, and meaning in movement. Through sport, I’ve grown into someone who believes strongly in the power of inclusion and belonging.

I now want to help others find their own path into sport—one that celebrates individuality and personal growth. I believe sport can change lives on and off the field—”

I’m passionate about helping create environments where neurodivergent people feel seen, supported, and inspired.
